In Japan for 18 days.

The most useful phrase I've learned so far is:

I think at some point there's a time when you realize that no, you're not a particularly good role player, and no, you're not a particularly good person either. I think I might've hit that point.
And I guess I ought to stop bitching and grow up, right?
I probably should stop only posting in this journal when I'm depressed. It's not leaving much of an impression.

Tis Ceri here, finding odd wireless internet while in Hakodate, Hokkaido. We left for Japan a couple days ago and have been traveling in a different small ryokan/hotel each night. It's.. very hectic, but my mom likes variety apparently. The lack of internet doesn't help either

I would post more pictures if the internet wasn't so unstable, but it is.. so here's the one picture that's the highlight of my day so far.

As of lately, I've been catching up with FMA. All 84 chapters. And it's a good manga, I'll give it that.

Last night, I dreamt that transmuted a cartload of worms into my room, and spent the entirety of the dream trying to kill them without touching them with my hands.

I really don't like bugs.

..Yeah, I'm glad I'm all caught up now. I think another dream like that would give me a seizure. Or a migraine. Or both depending on which came first.

The last week of school seems oddly mellow. Summer's begun and it just began pouring down rain. Bad omen? Possibly.
We were walking from one friend's house to another's when the freak storm hit, lightning, thunder, the whole thing. We were soaked by the time we reached the second house.

I watched 'Across the Universe' yesterday, and my best description of it would be that it's "for people who don't take drugs, but want to know how it feels to take them". AtU's got a decent amount of plot, one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, but good god, some of the visuals will make you dizzier than heck-knows-what. *rubs eyes*

But seriously, the soundtrack was amazing. (AtU features all Beatles songs, all sung by the actors in the actual movie.)

Otherwise, it's been kinda lazy this week. Less time on the computer, more time trying to learn a song on the bass that I should know fairly well by tomorrow. And I still don't. *needs to work harder, yes*

Wish I could plug my scanner in and actually submit some art anywhere. I feel like I've stopped drawing altogether.

But my exams are over, which is a good thing.

I think I screwed something or another up. Because one person has managed to confuse me, guilt trip me, upset me, make me laugh and depress me all in one week. And they seem indifferent. More so than before at least. Or maybe I'm over-thinking it.

Either way, it makes me want to spend more time away from the computer, so I don't have to think about it.

Which is vaguely unsuccessful since I'm still posting here. Not very well, but still posting.

Well, I got my hard drive replaced, so I lost most of my documents and whatnot, and I've been sick for the past two weeks, but other than that, things have been alright. ^^;

I was excited about finally getting enough RP-ers on IJ that an IJ-based RP could start up. But now, <lj user="vitiatus"> has upped and moved back to LJ, since there weren't enough applicants here. *sigh* Kinda disappointing really. I wanted to rp in a comm. without having to use a proxy all the time for once.

To interrupt my no_true_pair prompt-invoked high... My laptop crashed. Crashed and burned.
Now it'll turn on to a blank white screen and I can't figure out what's wrong.

Taking it to get repaired today. I hope I don't lose all the stuff I have on my hard drive.

I back up some files that I need for school, but all my unposted fics, logs of roleplays ('specially with Nams), and almost-complete CG art pieces are all in there.
